Our lives as disciples of Jesus Christ are about many things. One important mark of a disciple is growth in the knowledge and love of Christ. One way we do this is through intentional time in prayer and study. Our study of Holy Scripture and the life of discipleship is something that one should do both individually and in community.
We provide a variety of Sunday School classes for all ages throughout the year that may be lead by parishioners or clergy. These classes help educate us about the story of our faith and guide us in a life of discipleship.
Sunday school classes for children and youth are taught each Sunday during the school year for ages four through high school. Classes are led by parishioners. In the summer, Ascension participates in a city-wide Episcopal Vacation Bible School.
