Worship

The very center and heart of our life in faith at Church of the Ascension is worship. We gather each Sunday, and at various times during the week, in sure trust and confidence that Jesus’ promise, that where two or more are gathered in his name, extends to us. Worship allows us to connect with God and with a community both present and yet, beyond us, reaching back in time and extending to the ends of the earth. We worship together because we believe God delights in setting a banquet table where everyone has a place, and where each of us becomes part of a living tradition which gives witness to the transforming love of God, a tradition that also challenges us to grow into a deeper faith.
